# Delete advertiser

`DELETE https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/advertisers/{advertiserId}/delete.do`

Soft-deletes an advertiser by its numeric ID, and cascades to everything under it: the advertiser, every one of its campaigns and every banner of those campaigns are marked deleted and switched off, the banners are unlinked from all placements, and the rule groups attached to them are removed. Nothing serves afterwards. The records are kept (not physically removed), so historical statistics still report them, but they disappear from lists and cannot be edited; for 90 days POST /rest-api/deleted-entities/ADVERTISER/{id}/restore brings it back with everything the delete took down. Sends the advertiser-deleted notification and returns {"success":true}.
