# Remove banner placements

`DELETE https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/banners/{bannerId}/placements.do`

Unlinks the specified placements from the given banner by removing their banner-to-placement associations. All provided placement IDs must currently be linked to the banner; attempting to remove an unlinked placement returns an error. The caller must have the LINK_PLACEMENTS_TO_BANNERS permission (shared or all level). Returns a JSON object with 'success' status, or an error if the placements are not found, not linked, or the user lacks permissions.
