# Delete placement tracking codes

`POST https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/tracking-code/placement/delete.do`

Deletes one or more 3rd party country-level tracking codes from the specified placement. You can delete specific codes by providing their IDs in countryTrackingCodeIds, and/or clear the global (country='*') tracking code by setting clearGlobalTrackingCode to true. Both options can be used together in a single request. Returns a JSON object with a 'success' boolean indicating whether the deletion completed successfully.

## Form params

| `domainId` | integer | yes | `4001` | The unique numeric identifier of the placement to delete tracking codes from |
| `countryTrackingCodeIds` | array<integer> | no | `1` | Array of tracking code record IDs to delete. Can be omitted if only clearing the global code |
| `clearGlobalTrackingCode` | boolean | no | `true` | When true, clears the global (country='*') tracking code for this placement. Can be combined with countryTrackingCodeIds |

## Responses

- `200` — Operation result with success status
- `400` — Bad request — invalid or missing parameters
- `401` — Authentication error
- `403` — Forbidden — insufficient permissions
