# Update a campaign price adjustment rule

`POST https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/price-adjustment-rules/campaign/rule/{ruleId}/update.do`

Updates an existing campaign price adjustment rule. Parameters: conditionSubject, conditionOperator, conditionValue, actionType, and actionValue — only provided fields are updated. Requires MANAGE_PRICE_ADJUSTING permission and UPDATE access to the owning advertiser.

| `conditionSubject` | string | no | `PLACEMENT` | Condition subject — what the rule checks |
| `conditionValue` | string | no | `279` | Condition value — the ID of the entity to match (e.g. placement ID) |

## Responses

- `200` — Rule updated successfully
- `400` — Bad request — invalid or missing parameters
- `401` — Authentication error
- `403` — Permission denied
- `404` — Rule not found
