# Delete a default invocation-code parameter

`DELETE https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/placements/{placementId}/default-invocation-params.do`

Removes a default parameter from the placement. For a multi-valued type (CUSTOM_PARAMETER) only the given value goes; any other type loses its value whatever value is sent. Requires UPDATE access to the placement's site.

## Responses

- `200` — {success, data:[{type, value}]} — the placement's parameters after the change
- `400` — Unknown type, or no value for a multi-valued type
- `401` — Authentication error
- `403` — No UPDATE access to the site
- `404` — Placement not found or deleted, or it has no such parameter
