# List all rules

`GET https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/rules.do`

Returns all configured targeting rules in the system, sorted by ID in ascending order. Each rule object includes its name, type (CAMPAIGN or INVENTORY), active status, default-for flags (site, zone, placement, advertiser, campaign, banner), and nested ruleMatches with their categories, labels, operator, and include/exclude settings. Requires authentication and VIEW permission on the RULES static ACL identity.

## Responses

- `200` — Successfully retrieved rules list
- `400` — Bad request — invalid or missing parameters
- `401` — Unauthorized - authentication error
- `403` — Forbidden - insufficient permissions
- `500` — Internal server error
