# Create site day of week targeting

`POST https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/site/{siteId}/targeting/day-of-week/create.do`

Creates a day of week targeting rule for the specified site. The rule matches ad requests occurring on the specified day of the week. Use INCLUDE to serve ads only on the given day, or EXCLUDE to block ads on that day. Multiple rules can be created to cover several days. Returns the created targeting rule on success. Requires DAY_OF_WEEK targeting permission.

## Responses

- `200` — Success
- `400` — Invalid targeting value

- `404` — Site not found
- `500` — Internal server error
