# Create site protocol targeting

`POST https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/site/{siteId}/targeting/protocol/create.do`

Creates a protocol targeting rule for the specified site. The rule matches ad requests based on the HTTP protocol used (HTTP or HTTPS). Use INCLUDE to serve ads only on the specified protocol, or EXCLUDE to block ads on that protocol. Returns the created targeting rule on success. Requires PROTOCOL targeting permission.
