# Create site proxy targeting

`POST https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/site/{siteId}/targeting/proxy/create.do`

Creates a proxy type targeting rule for the specified site. The rule matches requests based on the detected proxy type of the visitor (e.g. VPN, data center, residential proxy). Use INCLUDE to allow only traffic from certain proxy types, or EXCLUDE to block it. Returns the created targeting rule on success. Requires PROXY targeting permission.

## Responses

- `200` — Success
- `400` — Invalid targeting value
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden
- `404` — Site not found
- `500` — Internal server error
