# Delete template property

`POST https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/template/template-property/delete.do`

Removes a specific property from the given template by its property ID. After deletion, all remaining properties are automatically re-indexed to maintain a contiguous ordering sequence. The template version is incremented after the property is removed, which invalidates any cached template content. Requires edit permission on the template through ownership or sharing; returns permissionDenied if the caller lacks write access.

## Responses

- `403` — Forbidden — insufficient permissions
