# Change property order

`POST https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/template/template-property/order.do`

Repositions a template property within the template's property list by moving it to the specified zero-based index. All other properties are automatically re-indexed to maintain a contiguous ordering sequence. The template version is incremented after the reorder, which invalidates any cached template content. Requires edit permission on the template through ownership or sharing; returns permissionDenied if the caller lacks write access.
