# Delete a VAST companion

`DELETE https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/banner/{bannerId}/vast/companions/{companionId}.do`

Deletes one companion ad of the video banner. Needs the VAST Companion Ads permission and update rights on the banner's advertiser.

## Path params

## Responses

- `200` — The banner's remaining companions
- `400` — Bad request — invalid or missing parameters
- `401` — Authentication error
- `403` — The VAST Companion Ads permission is off, or no update rights on the banner
- `404` — The banner does not exist, or the companion is not one of its companions
