# Get zone by ID

`GET https://YOUR-NETWORK-DOMAIN/rest-api/zones/{zoneId}.do`

Returns the full properties of a single zone by its numeric ID, including name, description, active status, whether the zone has recent ad traffic, and every field zones/update writes under the same name (id, siteId with siteName, enableRules, enableTargeting, operationBetweenRuleTypes). If the zone is configured as a direct deal, additional fields are returned: acceptance status, entity type, partner connection ID, partner entity ID, and partner ID. The requester must have VIEW permission on the parent site's inventory through ALL or SHARED level permissions. SSP zones are excluded when the user is SSP-filtered. The response also carries additionalFieldValues: every custom field the network defines for this entity type, keyed by field id, each with its name and this entity's value (null when unset) - the values of /rest-api/additional-fields/{entityType}/{entityId}.
