# Welcome to the Epom Ad Server help center

Epom Ad Server lets you run advertising campaigns on your own inventory: you create
advertisers, campaigns and creatives on the demand side, sites, zones and placements on the
supply side, link the two, put an ad tag on a page, and read the results in Analytics. This
help center covers every part of that flow in the new interface.

New to Epom Ad Server? Start with [Epom Ad Server at a glance](https://epom.com/ad-server/docs/start/platform-overview.md) — what the
platform gives your network, in one page.

## How the help center is organized

| Section | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| **Getting started** (you are here) | Guided first-run tutorials per role, a go-live checklist and a tour of the interface. |
| **What's new** | Release-by-release notes: new features, improvements and fixes. |
| **Role playbooks** | One page per account type — publisher, advertiser, network manager, demo accounts — plus the network administrators' page on roles, permissions and sharing. |
| **Use-case recipes** | End-to-end answers to a business goal, such as brand safety or A/B-testing creatives, with the steps across several features. |
| **Guides** | One task per page — advertising, inventory, targeting, delivery control, conversions, analytics, collaboration, administration. |
| **Reference** and **API** | Exhaustive fact tables — banner and placement types, invocation codes, macros, targeting dimensions, statuses — and the REST API and MCP pages. |
| **Concepts** | How things work under the hood: ad selection, the entity hierarchy, sharing, white-label. |
| **Troubleshooting** | Symptom-first diagnostics — "my ad is not serving", tag and preview problems, analytics discrepancies. |

**Browse by topic**, at the top of the sidebar, lists every page by the role it is for and by its kind;
the search box finds a page by keyword.

## Where to start

- **You operate the whole network** (you create both demand and supply):
start with the [network manager quick start](https://epom.com/ad-server/docs/start/quick-start-network.md) — it walks the full
path from an empty account to a served ad and its first analytics rows.
- **You are a publisher** (you own sites and want to monetize them):
  follow the [publisher quick start](https://epom.com/ad-server/docs/start/quick-start-publisher.md).
- **You are an advertiser** (you run campaigns on someone else's network):
  follow the [advertiser quick start](https://epom.com/ad-server/docs/start/quick-start-advertiser.md).
- **You administer the network** (users and roles, white-label, DSP partners, system settings):
start with the [Admin area map](https://epom.com/ad-server/docs/guides/admin.md).
- **You are about to launch real traffic**: run through the
  [go-live checklist](https://epom.com/ad-server/docs/start/go-live-checklist.md) first.
- **You just want to find your way around the interface**: take the
[UI tour](https://epom.com/ad-server/docs/start/ui-tour.md) — tabs, trees vs. grids, search, the command palette and personal
  display settings.

## Networks differ

These guides describe the whole product. What your own network makes available depends on how
your network administrator and Epom have set it up, so a page here may describe something your account does not show.
That is normal and not a fault. The playbook for your kind of account describes what you can
expect to have: [publisher](https://epom.com/ad-server/docs/roles/publisher.md), [advertiser](https://epom.com/ad-server/docs/roles/advertiser.md),
[network manager](https://epom.com/ad-server/docs/roles/network-manager.md).
