The 'Default roles' set contains the following types of roles for advertisers: regular Advertiser, Self-Serve Advertiser, and Statistics Advertiser.

Advertiser

An account with the default Advertiser role gives an opportunity to create, edit, and delete the user's own ad serving campaigns.

By default, an Advertiser has access to the following tabs:

  • The Dashboard tab. In this tab the Advertiser can see the current widgets and add new ones.
  • The Advertisers tab allows users to create new advertisers, campaigns and banners, as well as allowing them to edit their existing ones. Also, the Advertiser can set the pricing, manage targeting and limitation options, and apply optimization to their campaigns and banners.
  • The Analytics tab allows Advertisers to run regular reports on their ad serving activity.
  • The Actions tab allows Advertisers to view the Actions available for the ads.
  • The Templates tab allows Advertisers to view Templates that are shared with them.
  • The Preferences tab allows the management of account settings, i.e. changing credentials and password, sharing access to ad campaigns, etc.

In addition to campaign management, Self-Serve Advertiser can choose publishers who will serve ads among those which are shared to his account.

  • The Publishers tab contains all the available websites where the Advertiser can show ads and allows them to manage their ad serving.
  • The Advertisers tab allows users to create new advertisers, campaigns and banners, as well as allowing them to edit their existing ones. Also, the Advertiser can set the pricing, manage targeting and limitation options, and apply optimization to their campaigns and banners.
