Analytics tab in Epom Ad Server is a place where you can generate various reports regarding the ad serving activity of your network.

To run a report, log into your network account and go to the Analytics tab.


The following items are available for you to customize the report:

  • Type of Reports
  • Date Range | Breakdown By
  • Defines the timeframe for the report and the breakdown for that timeframe. Please note that some combinations are restricted (i.e., Breakdown by Hour can be applied up to two weeks period only). Time zone used in the report is GMT+0.

  • Group By
  • The grouping feature allows you to sort your report by certain parameter(s):

    • Site / Zone / Placement.
    • Placement Size.
    • Placement Type.
    • Channel.
    • Advertiser / Campaign / Banner.
    • Country.
    • Action.
    • Browser.
    • OS

    Press and hold the Control button to choose multiple items from the list.

  • Additional filters
  • These filters allow limiting the reports to a certain Country, Placement Type, Placement Label, Banner Label, and a certain Action.

  • Publisher Filter
  • To run a report for specific Publisher(s) / Zone(s) / Placement(s), click the disclosure triangle next to the Publisher Filter and select the corresponding item(s) from the pane. For example:

  • Advertiser Filter
  • To run a report for specific Advertiser(s) / Campaign(s) > Banner(s), click the disclosure triangle next to the Advertiser Filter and select the corresponding item(s) from the pane.

  • Channels Filters
  • If the Channel Targeting feature is used in your network, a report for specific Channel(s) can be made. Expand the Channels Filter pane and fill in the Channel name(s).

If none of the Filters and/or Groups are selected, all the information regarding your network activity will be displayed.

Once the report settings are configured, click the Run Report button. The report will be opened in a separate sub-tab. It can then be exported to CSV, XLSX, PDF, HTML, and JSON formats by clicking the corresponding buttons:

You can also click Save Report Template in order to store the report settings for future use. Saved reports will be available in the corresponding list on the top of the Analytics tab. It is also possible to set the automatic mailing of saved reports.

Alpha and Beta Analytics

Alpha and Beta Analytics are optional advanced features included in the Standard, Advanced and Enterprise pricing packages. The key features are:

  1. With Alpha and Beta Analytics additional data regarding your ad serving activity will be collected:
    • Browser
    • Browser Version
    • OS
    • OS Version
    • Time zone
    • Referrer
    • Screen size
    • Mobile Carrier
    • Location
    • Custom parameter

    To run a report for one of these parameters, select Alpha or Beta from the Type of Report field and select the needed options from the Group By list.

  2. Alpha and Beta Analytics contain special filters, which allow running reports for specific Custom Parameters and/or Cookies.
  3. In addition to this, Beta Analytics contains even more data regarding the ad displays:
    • No ads - The ad wasn't displayed (no Impression).
    • How long the ad was displayed (in seconds): 0-2, 2-5, 5-10, 10-300, 300+.
    • Views: Sum of all ad displays.

    All these fields can be enabled in the Report Settings section for Beta Analytics reports.
