Webhooks

The user-defined HTTP callbacks that enable real-time communication between systems. When a specific event occurs in one system, a webhook sends data (usually in JSON or XML format) to a predefined URL in another system. Common in adtech, they automate workflows like reporting, conversion tracking, and bid notifications.
