What your engineer needs to scope first Tags, the Prebid adapter and guaranteed campaigns
Tags
Adform tags are replaced by Epom tags placement by placement.
Prebid
If you run Prebid, Epom joins as the epom_as bidder; until it is merged upstream, it needs a build that carries the adapter.
Guaranteed campaigns
Guaranteed campaigns move into Epom’s priority stack, but forecasting does not carry over, so plan delivery with caps and pacing instead.

The Questions That Come Up on Every Call

01

Is Epom a good Adform alternative?

Yes, if you run an ad network or resell inventory: one Epom account covers your publishers, your advertisers and their logins under your own brand, with Prebid and OpenRTB demand, affiliate postbacks and payout protection built in. If MRC-accredited measurement or forecasting drive your deals, Adform fits better.

03

How much does the Adform ad server cost?

Adform does not publish pricing for either ad server; both are quoted through sales. Epom publishes every plan and add-on, from $250 a month.

05

Can I run Adform and Epom at the same time?

Yes, placement by placement. Move one placement to Epom and leave the rest on Adform until the numbers agree.

07

Can I keep header bidding?

Yes. Epom joins Prebid as a bidder and connects to DSPs over OpenRTB, with floors and minimum margin.

02

Is Adform a DSP?

Partly. Adform FLOW includes a DSP, and Adform’s advertiser Ad Server is built into the same platform. The Publisher Ad Server is a separate product for publishers.

04

Which verticals does Epom accept?

Adult, gambling, crypto, dating and nutra all run. The platform sets no vertical restrictions; creative moderation is yours to switch on.

06

What does Adform do that Epom doesn’t?

MRC-accredited measurement, inventory forecasting, Perfect Priority across guaranteed and programmatic demand, and Dynamic Creative Optimization, alongside its own DSP, SSP and DMP.
