Advertising guides
How the demand side of Epom Ad Server is organized and which guide to use for advertisers, campaigns, banners and bulk work.
Everything you sell ads for lives on the demand side: Advertisers → Campaigns → Banners. An advertiser groups campaigns; a campaign groups banners (creatives) and carries pricing, dates and delivery settings; a banner is the creative that actually serves into placements on the supply side. This page tells you which guide covers which task.
Who this is for
Network managers and advertiser users working in Account → Advertisers. Advertisers you own behave the same as advertisers shared with you at Can edit; one held as Can view opens and reports in full but cannot be changed. Which cards you see on the advertiser and campaign pages depends on your role — see User roles. Each guide has a Per-role notes section spelling out how roles differ on that page.
The two views of the Advertisers tab
- Tree view — the advertiser → campaign → banner hierarchy in a left rail, with the edit page of the selected entity on the right. Best for working one entity at a time.
- Grids view — the User interface mode preference (your username → Trees / Grids, shown only to roles that are not locked to one mode; the toggle in the entity area flips it for the session only), giving flat, server-paged lists with a Group by selector (Advertisers / All campaigns / All banners), a name filter, an Extended filter, saved views and a bulk toolbar. Best for working on many entities at once.
Both views open the same edit pages; the grids view adds the bulk operations described in Bulk banner operations.

How the pieces connect
A banner only serves when the whole chain is in place: an active advertiser, an active campaign with valid dates/budget, an active banner, and a link between the banner and at least one placement. Targeting, capping and limits at any level can further narrow delivery. See Hierarchy and linking and How ad selection works for the full picture, and Ad not serving when something doesn’t show.
